Hi all, I've recently moved to Tasmania from the Gold Coast and I'm a family history addict! I was in a club on the Gold Coast and want to join another nearby here in Launceston! Can anyone help out with details? If there is one I'd love to hear about it. Is it a friendly group? Are they open in January? I have a pile of genealogical material myself - can I share resources with other members. I could type a list. Do they do newspaper indexes or anything I could get involved with? Does it matter that to my knowledge I don't have any Tassie links in my tree. I am really missing chatting to people with the same interest so any pointers most welcome!
