Dear Listers, My G G Grandparents John Martin Fisher and Hannah Waterhouse Fisher from Manchester England, seemed to have disappeared soon after their second child was born. The children were raised by maternal cousins. The time was around 1845 to 1855. I have searched almost everywhere except for the convict side of things. Could anyone , someone do some look ups for me around this time, or maybe some kind soul has seen their names whilst looking for their convicts?? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. They cant have completely disappeared could they?? Regards Jenni
Hello Jenni Someone may already have replied to you off-list, but just in case they have not ... There were two convicts named John FISHER in your time frame - one transported on the 'Equestrian' (3) in 1852 and one transported on the 'William Jardine' (2) in 1850. There was no-one by the name of Hannah FISHER transported.
