The book "Van Dieman's Land The Journey Home, an historical colonial narrative" by Lynne Christison Rhodes was launched yesterday at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. This charming book combines Lynn's poems with her family stories, from her First Fleet convicts to the 20th century. Convicts, seafarers, soldiers, nurses all are portrayed with photos. Names include, Goodwin, Munro, Sweeney, Murphy, Millhouse, Hurst, Heath to mention a few.
