    3. Hi Melanie, Do you know just when the doco will be shown on ABC tv? Cheers Anne -----Original Message----- From: Melanie Steer [mailto:melanie@rpm.com.au] Sent: Sunday, 5 February 2006 7:55 AM To: AUS-TAS-CONVICTS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TAS-CON] RE: Lady Juliana: "The Floating Brothel" This is a documentary that will be shown on ABC TV here in Australia. A relative of mine is a descendant of one of the women and her daughter appears in it. Though it does seem to have a touch of the whimsical about it if the promo is anything to go by. I look forward to seeing it. 3. My understanding of the programme from my relative, Judy, was that they wanted to find women who were descendants from the woman on the Lady Juliana and then follow them to see what they had made of their lives. They followed Judy's daughter for a few months, she lives in rural NSW, filming her going about her business and life. Judy has seen an advance copy of the programme which has also been screened in America under the title "The Voyage of the Courtesans". Judy said that she was told it would be shown "soon". I suppose we will have to hold our judgement until we have actually seen it.
