    3. Hi Peter, Whereabouts in NZ are you - naturally I have a reason for asking. Now to the Malabar (2). The ship arrived on the 21 October 1821. Sailed from Gravesend on 22 June 1821. Journey took 121 days. The master was William Ascough and the surgeon, John Thompson. Hope this helps.
