Hi Listers I'm still searching for my Charles BRIGGS (born Y'shire 1795) who married Susannah Meek in 1848 at Green Ponds. I have details of this marriage, but I think he may have had a previous marriage sometime after 1833. I've checked the BDM's but no trace of him. Anyone have Charles on file? Hello Alison There is a Lidey BRIGGS who died in the Brighton district on 8 November 1842 aged 36 (RGD 35/18 1842/35 Brighton) - could this be Charles' previous wife?
