    3. Hi Coralie According to Bateson's book, The Rodney (2) arrived in VDL 20 Dec 1851. I'm rather confused as to where Queenstown actually is as the book says the ship departed from Queenstown. I'm wondering if there is a Queenstown in the UK. The ship left Queenstown on 24 Sep't 1851 and travelled via Gibraltar. The master was Alex Maclean and the surgeon, Harvey Morris. The journey took 87 days.
