Dear listers, my convict is Elizabeth Armstrong, transported on the Angelina. She admitted on her convict record that her name was actually Charlotte Jones and that Elizabeth Armstrong was an alias. The Angelina arrived in Hobart 25 August, 1844. In 1847 she married at Kirklands, Tasmania, to Edouard/Edward Meurillion, a policeman. They and their first two children came to the Bendigo goldrush after the completion of Charlotte's sentence in June 1852. Four more children were born to them in Victoria.
