    3. Carol Your man appears in the Annual General Muster 1819, convict portion, (ref Mitchell Library CY957, frame 235, copy now held at AOT under a different reference no) as: Hy Sherwood, (Ship) Hibernia, (Master of ship) Lennon, (tried) Winchester 1818 (sentence) Life, off (stores), and under remarks "Mr Fryett". Fryett also had lifer James Sturgeon per General Hewitt working for him at that time. Richard William Fryett married Ann Southarn Evans in 1818. She was the daughter of Geo Wm Evans, the well known surveyor. So that's a start for you as to where he was assigned fairly early on at least ..... Harry is the 1326th entry in the male convict list and is at frame 235 as I mentioned above. By the way can you confirm for me when his wife Frances Stephenson arrived in VDL? Garry Carol wrote: Subject: Where did he go Hi, My Ancestor Harry Sherwood was sent to Tasmania aboard the Convict ship Hibernia" he arrived in 1819 how do I find out were he would have gone to and were he would have served his time.
