    3. Hello Peter Have you obtained copies of the convict records for the Thomas LYNCHEY who arrived in Tasmania on the 'Lady Kennaway' or 'Norfolk'? These could give you some clues. The Archives Office of Tasmania (page 2676) have him arriving on the Lady Kennaway 13/02/1835 although he may have been taken off that ship in Cork because of cholera and sent later on the Norfolk. The NSW archives have a ticket of leave # 44/1537 dated 14/05/1844 for a Thomas LYNCHEY prisoner # 35/2982 allowing him to "remain in the district of Moreton Bay and saying that he had arrived on the Marry Anne in 1835.
