I am very keen to make contact with any person with an interest in the convict, James BINKS. He arrived in Tasmania in 1824 on board the "Phoenix" after being sentenced to 7 years for shoplifting. Received C. Pardon in 1841 and married another convict, Ann HODGSON at Launceston in 1844. Lived in Victoria, where he died in the 1890's. Gary in Kialla East, Vic.
