My Grand Father, Robert FLEMING/FLEMMING was awarded a MBE for civil in about 1945 but I cannot find it listed anywhere, can anyone help me. Cheers Sheelagh

He has completed more than 40 years as clerk :and overseer of the Streaky Bay District Council, which is probably the largest local government area in the Commonwealth. He has been secretary of the Streaky Bay Hospital for 33 years, and president of the Streaky Bay Institute for many years. In addition, he has been secretary of the Vermin Board in that district.
