    3. Hi List! I'm trying to find the marriage record of my 4 x great grandparents: James Paul CHAPMAN and Mary Ann HART. They married 9 October 1841...in either Kapunda or Adelaide. Any idea where I could their marriage record? I'm interested in any witnesses of the marriage. I checked the Janauy site and looks like 1841 was before any church records were kept?? Thanks! Tim

    3. Oops, sent that too quick! I just found their marriage in FindMyPast, however the entry does NOT list their parents or witnesses. Any idea if they're included in the original entry? Hi Tim The full transcriptioun of the entry in the Parish Record for Holy Trinity Church marriage register is: James Paul Chapman of Brown Street and Mary Ann Hart, spinster, of Fisher's Place, Adelaide were married in this Church by Banns this ninth day of October in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and forty one. By me James Farrell, M.A. Min St John's This marriage was solemnized between us J P Chapman and M A Hart In the presence of John Newland and Eliza Newland Entry 404 End of transcription. James Farrell was minister for St John's Church in Halifax but seemed to step and officiate at Holy Trinity as well.
