Hi Lyn, I think the Carmelite nuns were the only ones in Adelaide who took a vow of silence. They had a convent at Myrtlebank. There were seven nuns who came from the Carmelite Monastery in Kew in Vic about 1935. I dont know whether the list below is all inclusive but there is not Walshe among them. The property was sold in 2009.
