Having an Irish ancestor named Spain (the name was used by veterans of the Spanish War and has connections to the Armada) and a Scottish ancestor who was a McDonald from Islay (may be descended from Somerlad) I think I might get my brother to have a DNA test. On the other hand it might destroy my dreams of famous ancestors.
