Hi Paula, Have you tried SAGHS - GenealogySA now? They have a huge collection of German records and may be able to help you. Of course it may come at a price, but worth it if you are at a 'brickwall'. BISA details are also to be double checked as they are only what are submitted by family and often miss details like this if the submitter didnt know. Hi Paula, This may sound silly but have you tried putting the name into Google. I did. Quite a few things came up. I also have access to Ancestry but not exactly sure what you are looking for. From the voting lists it seems there was an extended family living on Pimpana Island. The George you refer to may not belong to your friend.
