I am asking if any one knows of a reliable researcher in the U.K. to look for my fathers WW2 record. I know his army no and where he served, he was a signaller/ gunner and served in India, Madagascar and Burma, we have two medals for the Burma Star. I looked on Google under Burma Star and there was an email address for them, to which I sent an email some months ago but have not had a reply. Dad did not talk too much about his experiences, I was born in 1947 in Rochdale England, and we immigrated to Victoria in 1951 then on to W.Aust. in 1956.If any one can offer some advice on this I would be very happy, Mum will be 93 in a couple of weeks and it could be of interest to her if she knew, also to myself and brother. Thank you, Christine Anderson in W.A.
