    3. Hi Robyn If you do a search on Trove for "Wakefield Scheme" and then refine search to the 1840s there are several articles of the time about the scheme. If there are any surviving lists they would probably be held at the SA state archives. Cheers Judy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Robyn Coates Sent: Monday, 4 November 2013 10:12 PM To: South Australian Gen Group Subject: [AUS-SAGEN] Wakefield Scheme I have been told that a family member came to Australia as part of the Wakefield Colonisation Program of SA but I cannot find very much information about this scheme. Would there be a listing of people who came under this scheme? When did it operate from and to? Were there particular areas of the UK which participated in this scheme? Thanks in anticpation for any leads Robyn AUS-SAGEN Archives are here: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/AUS-SAGEN/ Websites of Interest on our Blog: http://aus-sagen-genealogy-websites.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
