Hi everyone, it’s been quite sometime since I was last on this site so therefore I have forgotten a few things in regards to adoptions. When my mother passed away last year, we found out that she had had a baby and given it up for adoption. She would have been about 16yrs – 17yrs old in aprox 1945-1950 era. We don’t know for sure the exact date. My family are also interested in finding this child so my question would be, How do I go about obtaining the records? Would there be a record kept stating names, father’s name, the sex of the child, etc? When/ where ???????????????? Many Thanks to whom ever can help, Kind Regards Robyn
