Hello all... I bought PAF many years ago and have tried unsuccessfully to upgrade many times. I have a Macintosh and they stopped supplying for the Mac because their reason was "Mac is not much good". I was rather hurt at this suggestion because even though I now have Reunion - I do not think anything can compare with PAF. I still have my original book and info. I would really love to get a copy which would work on the Mac, and even though it was advertised it does not seem to have been produced. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate iot. Hi The latest version of Paf is Paf5 for Windows. Its already sometime- about 12 months- since it stopped being available via Family search. They were still supporting it but have now stopped. However, until six weeks it was available from download.com. However, they have now removed it too. I have searched high and low, in Google, on download sites and all links to the software come up page not found, so it has been removed. So the only possibility is someone that has an old disc. I never had a disc but downloaded it after each computer reformat or for any new computer. Paf 4 has not been supported or available from family search for many years. The same thing would apply: the only way would be if someone happened to have a disc. I am suprised they told you "Mac is not much good" Beryl. Everyone in the industry knows- and even most PC lovers will admit if pressed- until recently the operating system on Macs is far superior, being 20 times more secure than Windows. With Windows 8 PCs have finally caught up, 15 years later. The only reason I don't use Macs is there is not as much freeware software and other software of the type I need to use available for Mac.
