Dear Listers, I am still doing some research on the Brooks family and wanted your advice. Anna Brooks had married James Carruthers 28 July 1883 at Mt. Barker. What I would like to know is, what were the Edowie Cottages? It listed one of their children's birth..Annie Maud..born 8th May 1891, and beside it just said: Edowie Cottages.
