FWIW I must admit that I like WDYTYA and have bought all the DVDs so I can re-watch them. Though I found the US series a bit over the top but never-the-less interesting as my knowledge of US history is not as good as it should be. We see these 'celebrities' on the TV or big screen and quite often we know very little of them and I have found it enlightening to learn more of their lives. Okay some may not want to learn any more, but I find the study of humans a fascinating topic. I also enjoy learning of all the resources that the researchers use. I would agree the participants are handed it all on a silver platter, but none-the-less it has given me some hints as to where to look for those elusive relatives. I enjoy using Ancestry and Find my Past and I the British WDYTYA monthly magazine which has given me hours of reading - so I endure the Ancestry ads as I know they need to make money to be able to provide the services we enjoy. Please don't get me wrong I love WDYTYA and have though hubby isn't really interested much if any ( I think at times LOL) in genealogy he enjoys watching it too. And I love everything that is connected to genealogy, as well as I have the genealogists's disease and proud of it. Kind Regards, Judy. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Robyn Coates Sent: Thursday, 6 March 2014 9:19 AM To: 'Stephanie Cocks'; 'Morley'; 'AUS - SAGEN' Subject: Re: [AUS-SAGEN] Another peie of Family History FWIW I must admit that I like WDYTYA and have bought all the DVDs so I can re-watch them.
