Dear Listers I would like to ask for help with the parents of Kate Quinn. She married William Shugg on 9 Sep 1904, at St Luke’s Church in Adelaide. Sarah was 18 and her father’s name was given as Hugh Quinn. SA family history shipping arrivals show a Hugh Quin arrived 11 Sep 1836 on the Cygnet from London, so an early émigré. Perhaps this was her grandfather? Could someone look-up her birth please? I would also like to find her parents if they married in South Australia, and any information on BISA on them.
