Wondering if SKS could help me please. I have a marriage certificate from Victoria stating that Jessie McDOUGALL was born in Adelaide either 1849/50. Her father was Peter McDougall, Veterinary Surgeon, mother Margaret LAMONT. Cannot find birth on SA Index. Having checked shipping records index, I see that Peter & Margaret arrived in SA on the "Buckinghamshire" 21/3/1839, then again arriving on the "Eliza" (1) on 14/5/1840 and then another one for Dr Peter McDougall arriving from Hobart on the "Palmya". I am sure I can't see the "forest for the trees" but can someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you Lynne
