I would like a look up if possible of Francis Jefferson. If the district code on a certificate is Adelaide where would the certificate be held, so I could view them. Example - District - Frome is held at the Port Augusta Library. The death certificates at Unley Library didn't go back far enough for me. I actually wrote down Births - 1856 - 1922, deaths - 1864 - 1967 and marriages 1868 - 1937, and I want before that.. I'm guessing the only other place that would have earlier BD&M would be the SAGHS. Nor are there fiche or any other copies of the original (and only) certificates. Therefore, if the SAGHS index CDs/books do not have the details you require, the only way to see those early Adelaide certificates is to purchase them from the bdm.
