Hello, I'm from Queensland, and I've just joined this mailing list. I am trying to find information on the LISTON family. Details that I have are as follows: William Wilkie LISTON and Jemima GRIEVE were married in Scotland in 1851. I don't yet have dates of birth etc. for them, or parents' names. Shortly after their marriage, it is believed that they migrated to South Australia. Their first daughter, Ann's birth was registered in Murray, South Australia on 23rd September, 1853. The birth of a son, William, was registered in Burra, South Australia, on 4th January ?? or October?? 1858. What I have NOT been able to find, is record of William and Jemima LISTON's arrival in Australia. Are there any descendants of this LISTON family out there, or any one who can point me in the right direction, please? Any other information on these families would be greatly appreciated too!
