Hi Listers, I have previously sought information re the SEMMENS family in SA and received valuable advice. I have now come across a NICHOLAS SEMMENS (Breage) m. SARAH ROBARTS (Ludgvan) 1828. A daughter SARAH SEMMENS m. WILLIAM GAY at Ludgvan on 16/7/1853. A son WILLIAM GAY b.1858 (?) arrived in Moonta Mines, SA in 1884. He m.ELIZABETH SARAH SIMMONDS (SEMMENS) WILLIAMS on 5/9/1885 in All Saints Church Moonta Mines. To shorten the story ELIZABETH SARAH was raised by JOHN SEMMENS and wife MARY at Moonta Mines, Barossa (?) and Adelaide. I am assuming there is connection between the Cornwall and SA SEMMENS families. Hoping some lister might be able to shed some light on this for me. Neville Lee Kariong NSW
