Hi everyone, I’ve a bit of a dilemma and if someone could help me I’d appreciate it very much. I’ve had to have my computer rebuilt and in doing so, upgraded to windows 7. My dilemma is that none of my BDM DVD’s will work at all. Does anyone know how to “fix it” please. Kind Regards Robyn (in a very hot & humid Cairns)
Hi Robyn, If you are referring to the Digger CDs, they are not compatible with the 64 bit versions of Windows 7 (or of Vista, XP etc). If you have the 64 bit Windows on your new PC, and if you have the Pro or Ultimate version, you can download a Windows XP compatibility program from Microsoft that allows you to run XP 32 bit in a separate window and run Digger software as I understand it. I had the same problem but luckily I had W7 Professional installed and could download "Windows Virtual PC" and install all my BMD cds on that and run Digger from there in its own window. Very cumbersome but it is now possible to use my valuable CDs again! You have had some good answers but why not go to the horses mouth so to speak, IE Coherent who developed the Digger Software http://www.cohsoft.com.au/gene/cds/64bit.html Cheers, Tom <tomp@st.net.au> Tom Perrett
