?Hi Tracey and listers, There are no duplicate copies of bdm certificates prior to those dates for the Adelaide district. Nor are there fiche or any other copies of the original (and only) certificates. Therefore, if the SAGHS index CDs/books do not have the details you require, the only way to see those early Adelaide certificates is to purchase them from the bdm. The death certificates at Unley Library didn't go back far enough for me. I actually wrote down Births - 1856 - 1922, deaths - 1864 - 1967 and marriages 1868 - 1937, and I want before that.. I'm guessing the only other place that would have earlier BD&M would be the SAGHS. If the district code on a certificate is Adelaide where would the certificate be held, so I could view them. Example - District - Frome is held at the Port Augusta Library. Thanks Tracey
