    3. Hi Dawn If this Charles was a police officer, his brother was Martin (also a police officer) who married my relative Annie Armstrong. I have a little information on them, but not much yet. Have you seen the reports in the NLA newspapers about Charles' foster child Gwennie being kidnapped> Regards Heather -------------------------------------------------- From: "dawn rayner" <rayner.dm@gmail.com> Sent: Saturday, October 02, 2010 2:47 PM To: <AUS-SAGEN@rootsweb.com> Subject: [AUS-SAGEN] New member query Duggan & Thoroughgood families > Hi all, > > This is my first encounter with relatives in South Australia. > > I have just located a marriage in the Newspapers online for Charles John > Thoroughgood and Margaret Alice Duggan . > > A kind researcher has been able to add to the marriage details and provide > index results for their subsequent deaths. > > ie > > Marriage 19/1/1909 St Mary Church Semaphore SA reg no PtA 238/103 Charles > Thoroughgood father John Thoroughgood, Margaret Alice Duggan father > Francis > Duggan > > Death Charles Thoroughgood died 11/2/1951 Adelaide SA reg no Ade 764/975 > aged 71 yrs > > > Death Margaret Duggan died 15/3/1957 Hawthorn SA reg no Ade 856/1624 aged > 75 > yrs (relative Charles John Thoroughgood) > > > I am hoping that there were children to this marriage and that there may > be > some record of them also I would like to find out if possible where > Charles > and Margaret are buried. > > > Hoping someone can help. > > > Dawn > > > North East Victoria > >
