Hi Dawn There are no births for this couple on The CD of Birth 1907-1928. >From the SAGHS site both are mentioned in the cemetery index. Try <www.saghs.org.au> You can get information from them but it will cost. Mary Anne, Myrtleford, Vic. p.s. Hi all, Thanks to Heather, Barry and Mary Anne for the information they have uncovered. In answer to Heather's query I am not sure as yet whether the Charles Thoroughgood I am now researching was a member of the police force. From his marriage information he was Charles John Thoroughgood son of John Thoroughgood. In reference to the Trove newspaper reports regarding the stolen child. I have just been searching Trove for details. From what I can tell the child may have not been found. Is this so. It is such a tragedy. I hope to find more on this family. Best wishes Dawn North East Victoria
