Hi Lyn and listers, The fields which must be filled in are: Father's 1st given name and surname, Mother's 1st given name only, Select Birth/Christening event, Select region, for example British Isles If the names are common and you need to narrow down the number of results, fill in the year and year range. If you still have too many results you can fill in the country and county. If you don't know these you need to search for their marriage 1st. If they moved around the country you will probably miss some of their children. Do NOT enter the mother's maiden surname because if it is not recorded you will not get any results. Leave the *First Name, *Last Name, Spouse and spouse Last Name fields blank. Hope this helps.
