Greetings, Would a kind person please lookup the SA marriages list to see if a marriage exists for William Edward JACOB and Soph(i/a) Collins possibly around 1855. I need to identify the parents of William and Soph(i/a). They are listed in the births index as having seven children between 1855 and 1898. I have those references. A William Edward Jacob is listed in the SA birth index as born on 3-Jan-1859 with father William and mother Mary Elizabeth Bagot, but there is also an entry in the SA deaths index for William Edward Jacob who died on 14-Dec-1859 age 11mths with father William. Any additional information as to parentage of the married William or the mother of the William who died in 1859 would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in anticipation John.
