Hi Di A lot of the manifest does not give much detail - e.g. "1 case", "1 bale", with no description of the contents. "V & E Solomon" is not among the named consignees on the manifest but many of the items on the manifest could contain the goods that are being advertised. I suspect that many of the consignees named on the manifest are importers who wholesaled the goods to various retailers around the colony. Di - I am having trouble accessing via the link. is the Manifest.htm part of the link. if i remeber correctly put< at the start and > at the end and when you click on it the whole is read.
