Hi All I would like to know whether there was a local newspaper in circulation in Salisbury in 1872. I notice from the South Australian Library website there are a several Salisbury (and surrounds) newspapers but I do not what years they relate to. In particular I am looking for an article on the annual sports events held in Salisbury on 20 September 1872 and the running of Albert Edward Bird. There was a small article in South Australian Advertiser. Any assistance would greatly appreciated. regards John Bird
