Dear List Owner and Listers, I am writing to express my disapointment about how this List is being run the last few months.Sure not like it used to be! I thought it was only common courtesy to let the List know when the query has been attended to so there is no unneccessary time wasted by another Lister checking the Info. How long does it take to type and send a 'replied off list' ? Steph and Tracey and other great Listers that help or have helped ( Mike of Canberra is one ) spend a lot of their spare time and effort to help and then there are others that send the Info without even letting the list know that they have attended to the query. Which to me doesn't seem to be RIGHT WAY at ALL. But they are allowed to get away with it by the List Owner. This sort of behaviour makes it very hard to know as I have found myself if one replies and helps the Lister that is querying for the Info if you are wasting your time as they already may have the Info. I really can see down the track if not sooner this List is 'going down the gurgler' which is a shame, there is always a few that have to spoil it for others on this List and in Life in general. I havent bothered answering anyone since the last blow up and I wont anymore. Anyone is welcome to email me privately and I will gladly help. So those who are inferring I have can go twist. Unfortunatley this list can NOT be programmed to reply automatically to the list. Whilst that is physically possible to do it, it has been made impossible for our list owners to do because of the threat to this list from SAGHS of legal action if people copy directly from "their" CD's Those of us who opt to help others by looking up things from "our cd's" which we paid exhorbitant prices to own don't have the time to rearrange the info from the cd to suit SAGHS. Many times Steph and others including me have said we dont have time to waste doing that. In a perfect world person 1 would post a question, which would appear instantly on the list and in other listers inboxes... person 2 would answer and post  a reply to the list.. which again would instantly appear on the list and in the inbox of other potential helpers thus saving that person from wasting time re looking up something which is answered. Many time I have seen Steph, Mike and others complain about answers arriving before questions, and about messages posted to the list which sometimes have not turned up on the list for 24 hrs or more Given the reality of delay in messages I fail to understand how anyone can claim person 2 posting to the list would save person 3 from wasting time.. that is not the way reality works. Next point is, this is a democracy and no one has the right to tell anyone else they must post to the list..
