Hi Helen and Listers, >From the 1916-1972 Deaths disc 'help' S = " Supplementary information beyond that entered in this index, and considered valuable to the researcher, is available on the registration. e.g. additional family names, mopre detail on the place of death or the fact that the father of the child for whom the certificate was written, pre-deceased the child." There is no HI. But there is I I = "An indefinite date of death. If a range was given, then the lower figure was used." The 1842-1916 disc is worded slightly differently but same meaning.
