The Adelaide Cemetery Authority has a fantastic set of burial registers, lease registers, non-lease registers, crematorium records etc. However, there is a big but. Their records of burials in the Catholic Section are seriously deficient. They can only be made up with what they have got and these are problematic as for a long time, each burial was on a single piece of paper, many of which blew away, eaten by vermin, burnt to keep the homeless warm etc. Secondly by the burial registers of neighbouring Catholic Parishes and thirdly by the burial records of Seiberts Funeral Directors, which are an excellent series and microfilmed by SAGHS.
