Hi Michael, I have checked the BISA, there are no entries for ROSE, Robert that 'fit. There is an entry for a Robt Alexr par : Cath b c 1842, wondering if this means anything to you at all? ROSE Robt Alexr par: Cath b: c1842 d: 26.4.1906 bd: Dublin SA m: Anne nee LOVEDAY b: c1842 d: 14.1.1911 ch: Alexr I have checked both the pre civil marriage (in the hope that I might find a father for Robert which might help) and 1842-1916 marriages with no success. Do you have a marriage date? Also checked 1842-1906 births but nothing there. Do you have any more clues that might help...
