Hi Alan, Don't get frustrated - just accept the fact that Marriages via Vic BDMs are only available to 1942, so your request is outside those boundaries. I am trying to find a marriage in Victoria of Margaret Alice Trowbridge (Rogers) to Alfred Boffey sometime between 1946 and 1954. I have searched the BDM for Victoria and the Australian Marriage Index 1788-1950 with no success. I actually have a photo of them standing on the steps that i am led to believe were at the Brunswick Registry Office, if they had one in Brunswick. Any suggestions where else i might look.
