I am pretty sure that the Yorkshire family is not the family I am looking for as in the 1881 census Jane is a widow at Muttons Row, Liskeard in Cornwall with children born in Linkinhorne (where Jane and Joseph were married) - there are a couple of Joseph deaths but not positive about which. In 1861 the family are in Linkinhorne - Joseph, Jane, Mary and William. In 1871 they are in Cornwall at Pensilva - Jos, Jane, Mary, John, Thos, Jos and Emma but not William - he is a servant aged 12 on a farm at Linkinhorne. The next time I can find William is marrying in Victoria in 1883 to Florence Godsen. Appreciate the time and effort you took to look Regards Robyn
