I have come to the conclusion that it may have just been that the user load was too heavy, all those things we wanted to look up before they shut down to update. I had problems before, accessing TROVE and the full screen, but following advice from the Newsgroup, I tried accessing TROVE with Chrome (where previously I always used Firefox) and bingo, it works.
