I am looking for this for an old man who is 90 and this is what is on his birth cert mother Mother: Elsie Hartman then blacked out surname born 1903 Victoria This lass has her child in Albury NSW and they tell me the hospital burnt down? What is making it hard it that the NSW gov sent him the same cert blacked out and it cost him $53 he sent the real one and still they sent back a copy of what he sent them. Now they want another $53 to look again? I said I will try and see if I can find his mothers name for him It only took 25 years to find my mother in laws [smile] but I did find her but I don't think this poor chap has 25 years as he is 90 What is the harm in him knowing she is long dead? dratts Thank you everyone who replied Jill
