There is a place called Petersville which owes its name to the Petersen family, who I believe were Danish. I think there are some of that family buried in the Ardrossan cemetery. There is a bit of material including pictures in the Ardrossan-Cunningham Ward Centenary Book 1873-1973. I can scan it if you like. Cheers Kevin Brewer
