Hello listers, Emma Pearce was born around 1857 at Mintaro SA, daughter of Henry Pearce. Her obit (1944 in Broken Hill) says she was one of 13 children. There was an Emma Pearce b 1856, daughter of Henry Pearce and Sarah Moxey, but I don’t know whether this is the same Emma. (I can only find 7 children of this couple!) Emma married John Henna Cockrum in 1878, and moved to Broken Hill in 1899 with her four surviving children. I’m hoping someone will be able to find some more information about the family for me, perhaps from BISA. (I think I have found everything Genealogy SA, Trove and NSW bdm have to offer about her.)
