Theres been a 100 yr embargo on public access to NSW birth records for a long time. All the States have embargos on BDM records. Qld marriage records have been stuck on 1939 for ever. VICs marriages stuck at 1942. NSW has a 50 yr embargo .. They used to add the next year on 1 Jan but now its near enough a daily addition .
