Hi Sheelagh, I am researching a NUGENT family - but I don't believe they were ever in South Australia. What I have is George NUGENT (of the 99th Regiment) married Ellen Casey in 1845 in NSW and with the army he travelled to Tas and Vic where he finally settled.
