    3. Hi,, I was wondering if anyone out there knows the Yorke Peninsula well, especially around Moonta area. I have been going through the Adelaide Almanack for 1864 and Edmund was a sheep farmer at Tarrara. On the Birth CD, is daughter Frances was born at Barara, Yorke Peninsula. I am assuming this is the same place, just misspelt I can't find any town by that name, so my question is.............. Was it a small village/town in 1864 or was it the name of their sheep station? Thanks Tracey

    3. Tracey How about Barabba, a town in the mid north of SA near Hamley Bridge, Owen, Stockport. Certainly not far from Moonta.
