One of the best things about this list are the people. * This List enables those who need to know 'something quickly' - to appeal to the List for a lookup. * This List enables other listers to do that they like doing best - to help. * Being able to call on the List for help is so very wonderful - providing it's not overdone, of course. Most of those on this List have some resource material. My bookshelves can be heard to groan when I try to make room for yet another treasure. I'm thinking it's the same with quite a few of you. I really hate to think about the value dollar-wise of what's on those shelves - quite a few $$. We understand that many of us need help - in the nicest way, of course. Ros - I know that you'd darent say whatever you are thinking. Hey - stop giggling. We have every right to be wary - if the CD you've just purchased is a dudd, or the book [or CD] doesn't have what you are looking for. No-one can afford to tip money down the drain. Listers generally use books and/or CDs to answer your questions. By using these resources, they are showing you that these resources are 'good value'. Then you and I dont mind saving up to buy that book or CD, especially if it helps us break through 'that brick wall'. Ros told me tonight that there are over 400 on this list, many of whom we never 'hear' from. Soooo - I am now issuing you all - with a CHALLENGE - to all 400 of you. During this next month, I would like you all, to tell us about FIVE of your favourite websites - and why, of course. No excuses now, Christmas is over, the geese got fat and they were delicious, and I really want to "hear" from you all [on the list please] - it's too quiet here.
