Hello Chris, Where in Clare did your McINERNEYs come from? When did they come to SA? My most stubborn brick wall is my John and Margaret (née McINERNEY) HAYES, who came from Kinvara, on the border between Clare and Galway in 1841. They came to Sydney, but I’m looking for any connection in Ireland. Margaret’s parents might have been Patrick and Bridget. Any chance? Hi, Just checked my data base and I have Hepzibah's family as I was able to find from SA BDMs. I have not searched TROVE for any further notices for the family after the close of the CD's. So I do not have your connection with the family. Are you aware that all of Thomas' siblings and parents also emigrated to SA? An uncle also emigrated to Victoria as well as two cousins to SA. I am unsure how much you have found of the family in your research so far. Jenny C On 3/02/2017 6:35 PM, Margaret Boots wrote: > No that is not the connection. Hello Jan, An Ada Maud BRAY married into my MITCHELL and MELLEN family, who had lots of St Austell connections. Ada Maud was born in SA, and her parents Joseph BRAY and Catherine WARNE were married in SA in 1867, but I haven’t found Joseph’s birth in Cornwall or SA. I haven’t found a connection with your William and Catherine. Hi Lyn, The example i have been giving are births only. The problem with my deaths Cd is that when i enter Lee as the surname (2471 entries) and Gordon as the given name (7374 entries) it gives me a result of ten people and when i click on the results icon it lists the ten people as normal. When i enter Lee as the surname (2471 entries) and Catherine (18040 entries) it gives me a result of 26 entries but when i click on the results icon it says "record field count failed" I guess the mathematical combination of 2471 * 7374 works fine but the combination of 2471 * 18040 is too big a calculation. In future i will have to go to the local library, if need be. But first i will be taking Susie and your advice and use the Online site as much as possible. I hope i have explained myself properly and are starting to feel i little embarrassed by Susie and Yourself and others trying to help me. Birth cd if you leave the surname vacant and enter the surname of the mother and father below it will list their children as i have often used in the past. I tried it on the Victorian birth cd and it doesn't do the same but if you put the fathers surname at the top and the mother down below it works, you learn something everyday. Hi Alan, As I said previously - the online BDMs give you that option and MORE - as well as having additional records (more recent) not on the CDs. I know how to use the CDs and in fact have taught formal classes on them - I have done detailed comparisons between the two and the online version gives you more options and more data! Regards ...
